Special Events

Throughout the year, Mersea Island has a calender of events for all ages and interests.

Community events such as the Mersea Carnival and the Lions Festival are popular with locals and visitors and are a great day out for all. 

The West Mersea Town Regatta in August is the pinnacle of the Mersea events calender.  Preceeded by Mersea Week's sailing events and the Cobmarsh Marathon, Regatta Day brings locals and visitors to Mersea Island together for one big celebration.
